Service Information: Service are 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Patton Funeral Home with military honors. Inurnment at a later date at Roanoke Cemetery.

Albert "David" Moser, 73, of Mt Airy, MO died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Harry S. Truman V.A. Hospital in Columbia, MO.  David was born April 13, 1945 in Boonesboro, MO the son of Albert Dittman and Hazel Lorene (Hayes) Moser.



David attended school in Armstrong, MO and attended Missouri Southern State University.  David served in the U.S. Army.  In August 1964-67 was on active duty and became Military Police serving in Italy and Germany.  From 1982-1987 David  served in the Army Reserves.  In 1987 he became an Army recruiter. In 1988 transferred to the National Guard, and from 1988-1991 served on the drug intervention team working on the U.S./ Mexico border.  Later he served on the federal drug force from 91-94.  In 1995 returned to the active reserves until he became disabled from a car wreck in 2004.


David is survived by three daughters Natalie Moser of Moberly, MO, Rebecca (Joey) Minks of Moberly, MO, Angela (Shannon) Berrey of Huntsville, MO, brothers Mancel "Curly" Moser of Parhump, NV, Darryl (Carol) Moser of Hillsdale Lake, KS, James "Mike" Moser of Lewisville, AR, Melvin (Deborah) Moser of Spring Hill, KS, sisters Millie Burns of Sebastian, FL, Jayne (Jim) Winn of Chillicothe, IL, Kay Barrett of Albuquerque, NM, Dee Culbertson of New Lenox, IL, grand children Joshua Luntsford, Sarah (Nathan) Snyder, Shane Berrey, Seth Berrey, great grandchildren Aaron Snyder, Ethan Snyder, Ariyah Snyder, several nieces and nephews, lifelong friend Dickie Fray.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roger Moser, Richard "Rick" Moser, Wayne Moser and sister Dorothy "Dottie" Cade, sister-in-law Maurene Moser and lifelong friend Gary Hargis.
